Thanks, Nathan… But I wonder what sort of “fine tuning” high-energy physicists are trying to justify using symmetries. Not this same “no-signalling” issue, I assume? Or is it essentially the same: are they worried about how to maintain the perfect commutation of spacelike-separated operators, and that’s what you’re talking about here?
